Art & Artists

BoxHeart, founded in 2001 by Nicole Capozzi and Joshua Hogan, is an independent contemporary art gallery in Pittsburgh.

For 25 years, we've worked with emerging and mid-career artists whose artwork reflects a wide range of approaches to making art. Our collection continues to grow and change, bringing together artwork from artists we've known for decades alongside new discoveries.

As a living gallery, BoxHeart is a place to explore original art at your own pace. Whether you visit us in person or browse from home, you can discover artists, find something unexpected, and build your own collection of artwork that moves you.
