Sales Policies

  • We exhibit original, one-of-a-kind Artwork made by Artists creating right now. We do not exhibit mass produced Artwork of any kind.

  • We are NOT certified art appraisers. We do not appraise artwork for insurance or resale value. We do NOT buy artwork. We sell artwork within the primary art market and work directly with living Artists creating right now.

  • THANK YOU for spending time viewing the Artwork on our website and in our gallery. We love it and hope you do too!

  • Considering making a purchase? Let us help! We want to provide helpful services that make your experience fun. Our objective is for you to be 100% satisfied with your Artwork purchase.

  • DID YOU KNOW? We can answer questions about our Artists, their Artistic Process, and their Artwork. We can provide additional images of the Artwork, including images of Artwork placed in your own environment. We even offer "try at home" trials with Artwork.

    • If you're in our vicinity, you can "try at home" Artwork without a deposit or purchase requirement. "Try at home" trials are for the duration of one (1) week. After this period, you chose to either return the Artwork or purchase it. That's it!

    • Not located near Pittsburgh? We offer a 3 day approval period on shipped Artwork. But remember, it's Art and we're not Amazon! It's all different sizes, and shapes, and prices, and weights. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you make a return, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Let us help before your purchase!

  • Artwork is priced by our Artists consigning their property. Title to the Artwork passes directly from the Artist to the Buyer when it is sold. Copyright remains with the Artist unless the Artist gives signed and dated written consent otherwise.

  • BoxHeart Gallery's physical brick-and-mortar location is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania sales tax rate is 6%. 1% local tax is added for residents of Allegheny County.

  • We take the utmost care in packaging Artwork and insure your purchase while in transit. Should your purchase be lost or damaged, we will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. With your sales receipt and proper photos of the damage and/or loss, claims are settled within 3 - 4 weeks. Should damage occur while in transit, please take photos and contact us right away. Please retain all of the original packing materials as the carrier may require inspection.

  • Shipping cost on our website's Shopping Cart is calculated by Fed Ex and UPS. We ship worldwide!

    • We insure all artwork and your signature is required at delivery.

    • We can provide additional shipping costs via carriers such as; USPS and DHL. Just let us know what Artwork you are interested in and your shipping destination and we can provide additional options!

    • For legal reasons, we declare the full value of the Artwork for all international shipments. Please note that the Buyer is responsible for any customs or import taxes (VAT) on international shipments, which are determined by the destination country.

    • We offer a 3 day approval period on shipped Artwork. If you're not satisfied, the return of the Artwork and your refund can be arranged. All shipping costs, brokerage fees, import duties, and other surcharges are non-refundable. Returned Artwork must be received in its original condition.

  • Gift Certificates and Gift Cards are non-refundable.
