Namaste is a word derived from two Sanskrit components: -Namas, meaning 'bow,' and -te, meaning 'to you.' When combined, it translates to 'I bow to you.' This expression is often accompanied by a bow of the head and hands placed in a prayer position. It's believed that when the palms touch, the energy within the body aligns, bringing a sense of calm and enhancing the brain's connectivity. This gesture not only harmonizes the two hemispheres of the brain but also symbolizes the transcendence of duality, representing the union between the self and the divine.
