Southworth creates mixed media artworks that are filled with the energy of the materials she selects as her medias. From corrugated cardboard to fine art rice papers, from maps to passages from the Declaration of Independence, from various fabrics to gemstones and jewels, Southworth has a way of connecting and combining pieces into a transformative whole. Her "Collage Series" artworks include an envelope to be given as a small gift of original art.
