One of the earliest examples of a wand-like instrument being used in sacred rituals comes from the ancient Zoroastrians. The ancient Greeks offer a much clearer and more recognizable example of the use of a magic wand. This idea of a personalized, powerful rod that you wield as your own was popularized by one of the first great pop culture masters in Homer. Every antique and vintage object selected by Becker for her "Pandemic Wands" are a symbol of protection, guidance, goodness, health, and prosperity.
