Gavin Benjamin combines original analog photography and appropriated images with collage, paint, varnish, and Swarovski crystals to create a mash up of couture art. He is highly influenced by the way culture, media, politics, fashin, and design interact, and his artwork asks questions that confront a man of color in America today.
